Hi, I’m Carly

With over 20 years of experience in retail, I bring a wealth of expertise to my role as a coach and coaching supervisor.

Guided by values of honesty, openness, learning, and equity, I create a supportive yet challenging environment for growth. I encourage reflection, foster self-awareness, and provide practical, outcome-focused tools that empower clients to implement tangible solutions. My approachable nature and active listening help clients feel at ease, making space for meaningful exploration and progress.

I am a skilled and results-driven coach with a passion for supporting individuals to develop their skills and gain confidence. Leveraging structured coaching models, I provide clients with clear and tangible focus points to achieve meaningful outcomes. I hold an ILM5 coaching qualification and bring extensive experience from diverse professional landscapes, including Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Human Resources, Data, and Finance. Currently pursuing ILM7 Coaching Supervision accreditation, I am expanding my expertise to guide and empower coaches in their journey to success.

I am a DiSCGB accredited facilitator, bringing expertise in understanding and leveraging behavioural styles to enhance coaching. DiSC enables me to guide clients in recognising their own strengths, tendencies, and communication styles. By integrating DiSC insights into the coaching process, I help clients develop deeper self-awareness, improve interpersonal effectiveness, and foster stronger relationships. This added dimension of behavioural understanding enriches my coaching practice and supports clients in achieving impactful outcomes.

I have spent over 20 years working in the retail industry, building a diverse and accomplished career. My journey began in Finance, where I honed my expertise in management accounts before transitioning into Finance Business Partnering. In this role, I developed business cases for a variety of impactful projects, including new store formats, innovative product ranges, marketing initiatives, and festival stores. My career then evolved into the realm of Data, where I took on the role of Head of Data Culture. In this capacity, I focus on empowering the business to become more confident and capable with data, fostering a culture of growth, insight, and innovation.

Outside of work, I’m someone who loves indulging in life’s simple pleasures. I enjoy walking in the countryside and horse riding, which help me recharge and find inspiration. At home, I share my space with my partner and beloved cat, who never fails to keep me company. I’m also a self-proclaimed foodie, cooking and trying new recipes bring me joy, and I’m always on the lookout for the next great dining experience. Travelling is another passion of mine, and every holiday I take inevitably revolves around exploring the local cuisine. For me, food isn’t just sustenance—it’s an adventure!   In quieter moments, I find comfort in curling up with a good book, letting stories transport me to new worlds.
